Hey, you guys. Welcome back to the podcast. I love chatting with you. I've just had so many great conversations with you all, and I just wanted to say thank you for sharing your feedback about the podcast. I listened to a lot of podcasts, and it just feels like I have a relationship with the people that I listened to.
And so I appreciate hearing that from you guys that like you take me on, you know, your car trips and on your runs and walks and when you are cleaning your house or however else you listen to podcasts. And I take that really seriously. So thank you for the kind feedback. I can't believe we're ending 2023.
It is so wild. So today I'm talking about inner engineering 2024, and what I think about that. Also an invitation for you because I'm hosting a class coming up soon, by the time this episode comes out. And I've just been in the reflective mood and I know many of you are too, you know, about 2023 and what this year brought me, what I learned, what I'm grateful for, all the amazing things.
And like some of the hard things too because that is more life. Like we have hard things that happen as well. I use this metaphor with my clients a lot, it's like, most people want the up and up. They want the success, and the money, and the fame, and the freedom and all these things, the up, but to create the up, you need the depth.
And so it's not surprising. And that's kind of what last week's episode was about, like when bad things happen. And I should have put it in quotes, like bad as in things that you don't want, you know. We can even be at peace about the things that we don't want, but the things that we don't want play an important role in our lives.
And it's just part of our life, not that we have to have it to have success, but I do think there's this level of depth that happens for us so that we can hold the success that we want. And so I've just been reflecting, you know, in the past month or so my three year old had surgery and recovered.
My grandpa died; we had his funeral. End of year shenanigans with little kids in elementary school. My husband's, you know, going through hopefully an expansive time in his career. Hopefully… he is, I should say that now, I guess. Where it's like there's just a lot of things going on personally and in my business, of course, amazing things are happening.
People are joining the Matrix. I'm creating one on one clients, like things are really working. And so there's been a great, beautiful blend of things that I want and things that I don't. And I get to choose my experience of it all. And so I chose the word inner engineering very intentionally.
It actually was based on a book I read by Sadhguru, and it's called Inner Engineering. And I love the concept so much that I was like, I'm going to make it a verb. So it's like Inner Engineering for 2024. Yeah, I know that so much of us go into the new year reflective on the old year. And so I want to talk about that transition period.
And kind of what I think of, when I think of inner engineering. And I saw this on a post from one of my mentors. Her name is Kathleen Cameron. She wrote, "I'm ending 2023 the way that I want to end 2024.” I was like, oh, that's so good.
We've talked about beginning with the end in mind or the law of assumption where it's like the feeling of the wish fulfilled. And so I'm hosting this class on, let's see, Monday the 19th. So by the time you're listening to this it's coming up really soon for my clients inside the CCA and the Matrix and I'm also letting you join if you want to come. I'll put a link in the show notes just to come yourself, even if you're not a member of those two programs, but if you are a member of those two programs, please come live. It's gonna be great.
And I got this concept where it's like the architect, right? So engineering, architecture, when an architect builds a bridge or creates a blueprint for a house, they know with mathematical certainty what it will be and how it will perform. And that resonates with me; not because I can predict outcomes, not because I can mathematically like with mathematical certainty, create my business.
But I think with energetic certainty, I can. And to me, that's what coaching is all about. It's the inner architecting, what we want to create, where we have so much conscious choice, conscious devotion to the creative process that we have certainty in what we are creating. A level of knowing, a level of being that can't be replaced, right?
Like we've summoned within ourselves to create the year that we want to create. And so inner engineering will be about closing the year 2023 and really imagining and creating 2024 starting now, based on the inner work. So I'm not going to go through like how to build a funnel, like that's not really what it's going to be about.
I'm not going to tell you like the how. The how comes after the inner work, the inner engineering where you're making powerful decisions about what you want to be a match for, what you want to create and feeling as if it is done and choosing practices. And that's what I think we'll talk a lot about, is like journal prompts, inner work, practices; so that you can come back to that knowing, that certainty that what you want is available for you, that what you want is inevitable if you believe it is. And so it'll be about belief work. It'll be about choosing thoughts intentionally, either meditation or affirmations, journaling, coaching yourself.
I mean, I won't be coaching live on the call, but I will walk you through processes that I use. I think inner engineering is about intentionally choosing faith despite circumstances. So one of the things, one of the principles that I help my clients with is living unconditionally, where you are being the kind of person, speaking the kinds of words and thinking the kinds of thoughts that are in alignment with what you want, regardless of the circumstances that are happening around you.
And I think that this kind of living is very difficult. I don't think it's easy. I think a lot of people make fun of it because they're like, oh, positive thinking, Oh, you're delusional. Oh, you know, just like magical. It's like, well no, not everyone can do this, right. Where you're believing something without evidence until or as it manifests into your physical reality.
And that's what I do. That's what I'm up to with my clients. That's what I'm up to in my life. Because I think that level of faith is what is appealing to me about this work, is like using my mind to create what I want intentionally, not on default. Consciously. And so I think even though it's not something that everyone lives, I think a certain kind of person does.
I think you are probably this kind of person who wants to create a conscious life by design, on purpose. Starting with their thoughts, starting with new beliefs. One of my favorite tools is wouldn't it be cool if… Another prompt, I actually shared this in my stories a little bit ago, is if all things are possible, what would I love?
Where it's not just like, you're not trying to predict 2024. I'm not interested in predicting because you're going to use your past to try to predict what you can create this year. I'm interested in using your imagination, which is a God given gift. I am interested in using your faith. I'm interested in using your true desires to shape and to create almost like a blueprint of what you're creating in 2024. And doing the inner engineering work to line up your beliefs, your thoughts, your actions to make it inevitable.
And so I think it's going to be a really cool class. You're officially invited to come. We're going to do this work in depth. And I'm just really, really excited about architecting your future as if it's happening now. I think that's a true principle, like we've heard it in different ways. I even shared some of it in this episode where it's like, begin with the end in mind, the feeling of the wish fulfilled. Be, do, have. There's lots of patterns where it's like, you have to start with what you want. And so one of the things I want to talk about in this episode is the power of knowing what you want. And this is different than what you think you can have. I think so many people, when they write down goals, they're trying to be logical and safe.
And I've been there, so there's no judgment. But I think we try to say things that feel like oh, yeah, that's predictable. I'll write down this because I think I can have this instead of going for what you really, really want. And I've done this too many times to count, which is why I'm not coming from a place of judgment. I'm coming from a place of experience where I've bailed on the things that I really wanted because I got afraid of disappointment.
And so one of the things that I want you to consider as you're closing your year and beginning the next year, when you're writing things down that you want to create, don't do it out of fear of disappointment.
Do it out of pure desire because if you can navigate the fear of disappointment, there's nothing you can't create. I really, really believe that because so many people give up so soon or too soon because they're afraid of being disappointed. They're not willing to go through disappointment, and then recommit to faith again, and recommit to what they want, and go for it anyway.
I don't think you have to even be disappointed. I think that that's a topic for another day. Because I think when you have complete faith in something, if it doesn't manifest right away or if you don't create it in the timeline that you thought you would, faith is unshakable, right?
You just come back to, oh okay, it's not this week, but I'm recommitting to what I want. And that spirit of like grit, and I don't mean grit in like the hustle-y, I'm going to do this at all costs. I experience grit as really actually like spiritual, which is a funny way of explaining it because grit seems such like a forceful word.
But grit to me is like the persistence that comes from faith. That I'm staying in my belief, that I'm staying in the action, that I'm staying in the way of being until I get the result that I know I can have. Because that's how it actually works. I see so many people fail because they just quit too soon because they don't have enough of that spiritual grit.
And so I think it's required. In fact, that's something that we'll be talking about in the workshop on Monday. I'm actually writing down spiritual grit because I think that's how I want to teach it. I was going to teach it in a different way, but that word resonates with me, spiritual grit. The way I was going to teach it was like this unshakable faith and determination.
And what we want requires us to become the person who can create it. And sometimes that means this series of events. I teach this idea of like, there's a sequence of events that lead us to where we want to go. So it's an ongoing relationship with our desires. It's an ongoing awareness of whether we're choosing faith or fear, whether we're choosing creation or default living.
And I know most of you want the creative life, where you're consciously creating what you want, where you're consciously choosing your thoughts and actions that are in alignment with where you want to go and not living on default. And so if this resonates with you, consider this your official invitation.
I would love to see you at the workshop called Inner Engineering 2024, where we're going to close the year together and open the new chapter. Living as if the wish is fulfilled, living as if it is done, choosing thoughts, beliefs, and speaking words that are in alignment with where you want to go very powerfully.
I think there's a lot of power that is unlocked when we make decisions from a place of faith. We'll see if this works. I hope this works. That's not what creates the miracles that you want to create. And so I think this is an invitation to speak new things, to believe new things, to be new things, so that you can create 2024 in a way that you've never experienced before.
I think what's sad is most people live the same year every year. And time ticks by and they just live on default based on what most people believe is acceptable or what most people think is possible. And I want to go into pure potentiality. I want to go into your imagination and your true desires about what you want for your life, and for your business, and for your family, and for your relationships, and for your money situation, and everything.
We're going to do it all. And you're gonna make powerful decisions about what you get to create in 2024. So you're officially invited. Thank you for listening to this podcast. I will see you next week.
