Alright, welcome back to the podcast. I actually recorded this yesterday, full like 40-minute episode, and I didn't check the settings on my mic, and so when I listened to it back, my voice was super distorted. We moved, which is part of what I'm going to talk about, and I think I just didn't check my mic settings and stuff. Anyway, we're good to go. Thank goodness, but I'm excited to be with you and be back.
And it's funny, when things like this happen, you know, record the whole episode and then couldn't use it, I was a little frustrated because it feels like wasted time, you know, but part of me wonders if what's meant to come through will come through today, so I'm excited about that. So yes, we moved, and that was kind of part of what I wanted to talk about today, among other things, just what's on my mind and my heart.
We moved to a new house this week, and it feels very Quantum Play-esque. And actually, short plug, if you're not enrolled in Quantum Play, I'm just going to keep enrollment open because you can catch up the recordings, but we kicked off Quantum Play this week. And so if you somehow missed that, please feel free to go to itsambersmith.com/play and join us.
But anyway, this whole move feels like Quantum Play because me and Wesley had been kind of thinking about upgrading our house and elevating our life experience, is how I would say it, and we haven't been super serious. We've just been touring houses, looking, kind of keeping our hand on the pulse of what's available still in Utah, and we found this house, the house I'm sitting in, in my new office, recording this episode for you, for us, right now.
And when we walked it, we had that just knowing that this was our next move, and it all happened very fast. If you've been kind of hanging out with me on Instagram and the podcast, I've been purging books, I've been thinking about my new frequency, which is the whole premise of Quantum Play, and I just feel new.
And it's really cool that a lot, I would say so much, of the inner work that I've done to expand my consciousness, to see things different, to really put myself at the creator seat, right, to be in the creator mode of my life, and now so much of the things that I've elevated in my mindset, in my awareness, in my identity, I'm seeing reflected back to me in where I live. Not that my last home was bad, by any means, but it was old.
And we were limited, and it was a little darker, so I've actually noticed that a lot in this house. Everything's a lot lighter. The walls, the windows, there's more natural light pouring in, and there's contrast, right, which is a huge building block for us conscious creators. Contrast is things that we don't want, and what's funny is, is this old house that I lived in, it wasn't bad. We loved it. We loved our neighborhood.
We loved our backyard. We loved being able to walk. The house was big enough where I could have an office, and Wesley could have an office, and the girls could have their rooms, and we had a guest room. I mean, like, it fit our needs, and what I didn't notice is a lot of the things that I actually wanted, I didn't have because I justified it, right.
And we do this. We justify where we're at because we don't allow ourselves to get clear about what we really want, and I see this with my clients, too, and so sometimes contrast comes in to help us get clear about what we really want, and I definitely experience that now that we've been in this house for a few days, almost a week. It's very clear. Every time I go back to the old house to get the last load.
We're finally done with that, but to get the last, you know, load of, like, the random drawer that I left or, you know, this box that was in the garage, things like that, and I would walk into the house, and it felt different there. It felt like old energy, and I think about that with my clients. You know, sometimes I'll even say to them, that's old energy, or that's an old way of being, or that's old frequency.
And we need that contrast to be able to see clearly what we want and what we're available for, and so now I'm living in this elevated home with large windows, lots of natural light. The house is just beautiful and new and bigger and more spacious, and it just feels elevated, and so I've been thinking about this as I get ready to teach quantum play today. Actually, the day that I'm recording this, I'll be teaching quantum play later today, so I've been thinking about the new frequency and what that means.
So many of us are at the threshold, and I honestly think the threshold comes in ways, you know. Many of you cross the threshold to start your business. That was a threshold, but what a lot of people don't understand, or they come to understand, is that there's many thresholds that we cross.
The threshold of your first paying client, the threshold of a group program, the threshold of a new price point, the threshold of a new monthly recurring revenue rate, the threshold of who you hire and the support that you get, whether that's a VA or a coach, mentor, an employee. For me, I've crossed thresholds of support in my home, like hiring house cleaners and getting support with my podcast and getting support with my program backend and paying for Kajabi and all these things.
There's been many thresholds that I've crossed that have helped me create what I want to create and be who I want to be and experience what I want to experience, and that includes money. That includes freedom. It includes the kinds of clients that I work with. My clients are incredible, and the amount of money that I make is incredible given the amount of hours that I work, you know. I am not missing that.
Like, I am very aware that I live in a lot of miraculous moments that I used to pray for, and it's because I've been willing to cross the threshold many, many times. Sometimes I smile when I hear people say, like, I hired the coach and it didn't work, and I'm like, well, now you're going to stop. I'm like, I've hired so many coaches. I've joined so many programs. I kept crossing my own threshold, and that's one of the reasons that my life keeps evolving. The better it gets, the better it gets.
If I'm willing to cross the threshold, that means challenging old identities. I was actually on a coaching call with my coach yesterday, and I was cleaning up some boundary issues in my life, and realizing that the threshold that I'm crossing now is a little spicy for me because it means saying no to things I want to say no to and saying yes to things that I say yes to, and doing that, not repeating my people-pleaser pattern in this new phase of my life, in this new home, in this new reality.
And the threshold that so many of us are crossing means letting go of old patterns, old ways of being, old ways of thinking, old conversations that you have with yourself in favor of this new reality that you want to be a match for. And so we clean up our vibration and frequency. We clean up our thoughts. We clean up our expectations in favor of the way we want to be in our life.
And the person, the thought processes, the expectations, the energy that we bring to our life that's a match for the reality that we want to see mirrored back to us because we are cause. And so I feel like I literally shifted timelines, and I don't say that in like the super woo way, but I really do.
I feel like I've collapsed time in the past year because I've said yes to things, because I'm constantly trending, which is a major theme of quantum play, like gentle trending, reaching for better feeling thoughts, not making myself wrong for the human experience has been a lot of my work with my mentor, Amber, but also just my whole life.
You know, I've had to challenge old ways of thinking about myself and my sovereignty and who I am to other people in relationship to my dreams, that me going for what I want might activate people around me, comma, that's okay. And I'm not responsible for that doesn't mean I don't care, but I'm not responsible for it. I am responsible for myself and my family, the people who live in my house, my kids, my husband, and even my husband, I'm not really responsible for him.
We co-create, but my kids, I feel responsible for just because of their ages. But if you listen to this, my guess is there's this balancing act that you've been trying to do where you're trying to go for your dreams, but not making anyone else uncomfortable. Mic drop. You're trying to make more money, but you don't want your neighbor to think you are greedy or only care about money.
You're trying to grow your business, but you're worried about your aunt or your friend or your cousin or your coworker and what they think about your industry. If they think you're cheesy, if they think you're a snake oil salesman, they think it's a scam. You want to raise your prices, but you're worried about what your clients will think about that. You want to join the coach, but you're worried about what your clients will think about the coach that you're going to hire.
You want to go on a trip, but you're worried about what your partner or your husband will think about that. I mean, it's just nonstop. We're constantly managing other people's thoughts without really seeing that's not your responsibility. I was actually voxing the client this morning about sovereignty. I don't think that means that coaches are off the hook about being responsible for how they show up in their containers.
This is the paradox, right? I take full responsibility in my client relationships for how I show up for them. I do everything in my power to support them. And I also know there's things that are not within my power. I cannot create for them. I cannot sign clients for them. I cannot make money for them. And so their drama about money or their fear or their worries or their relationships are not mine to control or fix or solve or save.
And I think about this in relationship to our industry. I've been thinking about this a lot because our industry is changing. I mean, it's always evolving in real time. But I think with the rise of AI and the rise of information and the complexification of online business and the saturation of the marketplace and the sophistication of how people buy, even just think about how you buy things. It is not the same as it was in 2018, obviously, but it's not even the same as it was in two years ago.
Our people need more experiences of us. They need trust building. They need relationships. And I've always run my business this way, and I've always gravitated towards mentors this way. I've never liked the guru on the pedestal vibe because I don't want to be a guru on a pedestal. I really get the sense that the coaching industry specifically is transforming into like, let's walk together side by side.
I might know things because of my experience. I might have a skill set that can serve you, but it's not because I'm better, you know, it's let's walk together. Let's do this together. And I am a resource. I was talking to another client about the jingies, which I love, but one of my numbers is 48, and it's very active in my profile. And Richard Rudd shares this metaphor that I love, which is like a well of wisdom.
And the thing about it is, is I can't pull out wisdom from my own well, right? It has to be in service to someone else. My wisdom, the things that I know, the resources, the ideas, the connections, the frameworks, the ideas that can change someone's business only gets pulled out of me when I'm in relationship to my clients. I can't just sit in my office and spout wisdom.
It has to be in service to something like this is what's happening right now, has to be in service to love, to the highest good, to your transformation. It can't just be for me. And I think there's a lot of potency in what I just said for you. How to get what you want is to be in service to someone else. And I know that you've heard that before, but we are seeing that like never before in our industry, in the way that online business is.
And so when I think about that, that's good news for people like you and me who have hearts of gold, who genuinely care about seeing their clients succeed, who want the relationship, not just money. They want money to come, of course, but because of service, because of transformation that they facilitate, because people get value, which is like such a buzzword, but it's true nonetheless.
And so I'm seeing this in my clients' businesses. I'm seeing this in my own business. Just give you a peek behind the curtain on what I'm focusing on, is it's all relationship building. I just wrapped up Potentiality Protocols on Substack, which, by the way, if you didn't participate or you're listening to this in three years, it's still going to be on my Substack for free. So you can find that on Way of Abundance, which is my Substack, and it's totally free. It was an audio, five-day audio series.
And then I went live earlier this week to kind of wrap it all up. And no matter when you're listening to this, you can find it. And I did that in service to the relationships with people that I am interested in building, people who are on a similar path to me, who care about making a new earth with business, with consciousness, people who care about becoming a portal for prosperity, to increase the abundance of our planet one by one, not in the sense of like greed.
I don't even mean the word abundance in like this tiered hierarchy thing. I mean, in our homes, with our kids, with our partners, with our families, with our clients, with our communities, where there's an increase of love. And actually, I want to read this to you. It's from Frederick Dodson. Love Frederick Dodson. But this quote about love, Frederick Dodson says, the biggest secret in the universe is this.
Whatever happens to you in life is there to help you experience more love. Grasp this and you understand all else. What follows is why this must be true and how you can use this wisdom to change anything. Have you ever noticed losing interest in a project after a few achievements? Have you ever become careless about money after getting a lot? Have you ever begun losing romance after getting him or her?
And have you ever noticed treating people you already know worse than new people? Have you ever noticed companies that become bigger stop caring about their customers? These patterns of decline are common in society. Decline of love after success is the main cause of decreased health, happiness, and wealth. Spiritual law is that you will experience in life whatever helps you experience more love.
So if abundance causes you to experience less care or interest, then abundance will be taken away from you again. Why? Because the universe conspires for you to experience more love. And this is how most people's finances, health, wealth, happiness, etc. go up and down over the decades. They don't care, so it all goes down. So they start caring again by necessity and it all goes back up.
Then they are well off again, become complacent, and it all goes down. Then they wake up and become attentive again and it goes back up. If only losing money, health, and relationships or happiness makes you aware and more loving, you can be sure that you will keep losing them. It means that the only way to make you more loving and aware is to take something away from you.
Would you like to break through this pattern and become healthier, wealthier, and wiser than ever before? Then let improved situations cause you to become even more loving, interested, and attentive. Let success inspire you to become even better. When abundance makes you a more loving human being or helps you maintain interest in your friends, family, and customers, more abundance will come to you.
If there is any area of lack in your life, look for a lack of care towards yourself and others and correct yourself. Does this remind you of a parent-child relationship? That's because our relationship to the universe is similar to that of a child to its parents. We like to spoil our children with unlimited generosity. But if this causes them to become spoiled and unkind, and it seems like the only way to make them caring, respectful, and aware again, lies, and no longer spoiling them.
We intentionally throttle the flow of abundance in their direction. But this can't be true, Fred. What about all the rich, famous, healthy, happy people who are unkind and outright nasty? Their riches are temporary, and their happiness an illusion. If you think these outright nasty people are happy, healthy, or wealthy, you are seeing only a snapshot rather than the whole movie.
Or they are creating a public perception of their supposed abundance. Abundance equals rich and happy, not just rich, and hide their suffering. I have met a lot of people from all walks of life over the last 40 years, and it's been easy to see where abundance is authentic and stable, coming from love, or temporary, or at the expense of health, coming from trickery. And then there are some very kind and loving human beings that are mistakenly viewed as evil by the public.
In spite of appearances, there is no nasty person who is at the same time abundant. This false assumption is rooted in conspiracy theory, which itself is rooted in the paradigm that the universe is an evil place that rewards evil. To get a bigger picture of this, look at people's lives when they are older.
Above the age of 70, they draw closer to the end of the movie of their life, and their conduct throughout their life becomes more visible. Loving conduct guarantees long-term happiness, health, and success. Unloving conduct will eventually catch up with you and leave you lonely, poor, or sick in old age, but even then, it's never too late to turn it all around.
Is it controversial to suggest that people end up where they are, primarily through their own choices in life, rather than being victims of uncontrollable circumstances? Then, I'll soften this stance a little by adding that many people are not entirely conscious of the process. I make such statements not with the aim to judge or condemn people who are suffering, but rather with the aim to help, so that they may become more conscious of nightmares of their own making.
Another way to get the idea is by looking at people whose success stories have spanned across their whole lifetime versus people whose fortune was short-lived. The difference between one-hit wonders and those of a lifetime legacy is that their fortunes did not fundamentally change who they were inside. They never gave up their creativity or love, or did not sell out or compromise their dignity and honesty.
Fortunes come and go easily, but it stays with those who stay true to themselves, and being true to yourself means living from love. No doubt, we all experience our share of trouble and challenge, but if you take the challenge as an opportunity to grow in awareness and love, the trouble is short-lived. Okay, I mean, I could keep reading, but holy cow.
So, at the end of this passage, he says, Whatever happens to you in life is there to help you experience more love. I've met my share of people who have been seriously ill. As they become more loving, their health improved. But many, after their health improved, unfortunately went right back to being unkind, uncaring, unaware. So what happens? They fall ill again. The lesson was not learned.
Bad things happen until the lesson is learned. The lesson to learn in life is always the same. Love. Everything is a lesson in love, but if you stay aware, you no longer need lessons just like an innocent person requires no punishment, an awake person requires no wake-up call, a well-intended person requires no guilt, and a person on a loving path requires no course correction. But Fred, love is not always the answer.
I tried sending love to my boss who has really been treating me badly, and he hasn't changed. He still shouts and threatens us every day. Sometimes he physically assaults us. In this case, self-respect, which is another form of love, is the answer. Do you respect yourself enough not to put up with that and leave the job? But Fred, if I leave the job, I'll be out of money.
On the contrary, without love, here in the form of self-respect, you will run out of money, happiness, and health. And does it get any more unloving than to think you are unable to get a better job and have to put up with mistreatment just for a couple of dollars? The worldview shared in this article is not common. The objections to it are numerous, but once the philosophy of a loving and love rewarding universe is embraced, most doubts subside and peace and prosperity are what you become.
From that time onward, you no longer need negative events to awaken you. Whatever happens to you in life is there to help you experience more love and awareness. Okay, I know that was long. That's from Create the Reality You Prefer. So I think this has everything to do with your business, everything to do with your prosperity, everything to do with your next level of financial prosperity, of relationship prosperity, of life enjoyment, of fulfillment. We learn lessons to help us become more loving, period.
And so I think that's one of the reasons that my business has kept growing is because love is at the center of everything I do in business. I know it's cheesy, but I think you can feel it when I say it. Like, I love you guys. I love you. And I'm here to help you. And I love what I do. I love my family. I love this work. I love the idea of expansion. I love the chance that we have to create together. I love my conversations with clients.
I love when I teach in my group. I love recording this podcast. And you can't fake it. And so for a lot of you, if you looked at whatever is showing up in your life experience right now as an opportunity to be more loving, how would you approach it? And is it possible if you keep repeating the same patterns that you haven't learned the lesson? And the lesson isn't that you're bad. The lesson isn't that life is hard.
The lesson is be more loving. And the universe gets to invite us into that, right? Like what Frederick said. Fred. And I think about that with money. I think about that with business. If your business makes you more loving, I think it will keep growing. And clients will keep finding you. And you will be given more money to steward.
You will be given more resources, more opportunities, more relationships, more clients, more exposure, more visibility because you are in service to love. Like I said, I know that that's cheesy and I know that that's like a different way of thinking, but I do believe it. And when I think about what I'm experiencing right now, that has been the driving force behind so many of my decisions in business.
Not fear, not control, not manipulation, but love. And I will say when I fall short of that, I do get corrected too. When I do something out of fear, there's a line in the gene keys and I can't remember exactly, but basically whatever energy a seed is planted in, that's going to be the fruit. And so if something is planted in fear, it ends in fear.
So if you try to launch a program because you're afraid of running out of money, that is a very different energetic experience than launching a program because you love your clients and you love the topic. Can you feel that? It's a very different experience to write a sales email in the spirit of service and love and transformation than it is, please buy from me so that I can validate my existence here.
And I know that this is spicy, but this is the work. And I love what Fred said about the self-respect that sometimes the most loving thing you can do is actually to put yourself in an environment where self-respect, self-love, your highest good is prioritized, especially if you're in a bad situation or especially if things aren't working, that you say enough is enough. I matter more than this.
And so all of this is what's the highest good here for me, for you, for us? What is the highest good here that includes you? You have to be part of the ecosystem. And this has been my work for sure is putting myself in the ecosystem because I have been my whole life so good at making sure everyone else in the ecosystem was thriving.
But everything changed in my business when I was included in that equation that I have to make sure that my highest good is prioritized here. That's when the money started flowing. That's when clients started signing. And it wasn't a selfish thing. It was just a true thing that, of course, I matter. Of course, loving myself is an important part of my work. Of course, my needs being met is integral to my family success. Of course, it is.
It just wasn't always modeled. A lot of us were not taught this. And so it's time to reclaim that and relearn that and reintegrate that for you. And then the ripple effect of that love is abundance and flowing clients and ideas and sales and marketing that works. You know, all of it is related. But love is the name of the game. And so a lot of times we don't talk about that in conscious creation or quantum play.
But if love is at the foundation, I think it changes so much for us. And I just want to invite you to think about that. Is the love the driver or is fear the driver? And my invitation is to answer that question without judging yourself or shaming yourself and just get curious. You know, is the last post that you wrote, was it coming from love for yourself, for your clients, for your community?
The last time that you did a sales event, was it coming from love for yourself, for your community, for your clients? Or was it coming from fear? And just to be open and curious about the answer. This is why I read the books that I read. You know, I don't really read business books anymore. Actually, let me rephrase that. I do not read business books anymore. Not that I never will.
But right now, the phase of life and business that I'm in, it's all this kind of stuff. It's all energetics. It's all love based, spiritual based, because I see this as the key to my success. It's not the strategy that I learned in 2018. It's not the book that taught me how to tell this perfect story in a certain way with a certain script to manipulate people to buy.
I take action from inspiration and inspiration is, I would say, a symptom of love.
And I've never said it that way, but that feels true to me right now. Inspiration is a symptom of love. Love for my business, love for you guys, love for my clients, love for my community, love for this work, love for myself and my dream, love for my family and the dream that we're creating together. I could cry. Like, it makes me emotional thinking about that. But it's true.
It's not the conversation that typically we talk about in business, but it is true. And I just can feel the resonance with this message right now. So thank you for being a witness to it. I hope it expands something in you to shift back to love, like Marianne Williamson's book, Return to Love. If you haven't read that book, it is so good. Return to Love by Marianne Williamson. Shifting back into love is the name of the game.
That is a frequency. That is energetics and conscious creation. That is expansion. And I think going forward, I want that to be just the main premise of my business. Love this house that I'm in. Love got me here. Love is where I'm going. And for people who resonate, I know that that's our work. And the byproduct of all of this is money and clients and business success and programs that are full and a full client roster.
And all these things that you want come from this place because the universe is constantly conspiring to bring solutions and problems together. So if you are in the spirit of service, trying to provide solutions to your people, they will naturally find you. Truly. You just have to be like the lighthouse, like we've talked about in the past.
I have that giant, thank you, Hannah, giant lighthouse painting in my office to remind me every time I work that I am here until it works. I am here whether it's today or tomorrow or in five years or in 10 years. I am here for you. And you can't fake that energy. That energy is so in integrity for me because I mean it. I'm not faking it. And so it doesn't matter what things look like online.
It doesn't matter what things are portrayed to be, including some of your favorite creators, you guys. And I say that with a lot of love and nonjudgment because I've done my own version of this. But there's a lot of things that are being portrayed online that aren't in integrity. So you have to use your discernment and really check in with yourself so that it doesn't matter what it looks like. It matters what it is.
The energetic integrity of who you are being in your business is everything. Doesn't matter what it looks like. Doesn't matter if you have the perfect reel. It doesn't matter if you're a master at social media. I've talked to so many people with way bigger audiences than me that I have a way more profitable business because we are in the age of discernment.
And so your people are discerning your content and your vibe and what you're saying and your story more than just what you say. And so it's time to get squeaky clean in your energetics, squeaky clean in your beliefs and your thoughts and your intentions, and shift back to love. Yeah, this episode was way better than the one I recorded yesterday. I'm just laughing about that right now, what came through.
Thank you for being here. Thank you for being on the ride with me. Thank you for your time and attention and listening to this podcast. I appreciate you. I really, really do.
