Hey, you guys, welcome back to the podcast. It'll be an interesting episode today, truth be told. One of my selfish reasons for doing the podcast is it helps me clarify my own thoughts. And so this is a concept that I've been playing with and it has come up a lot with my private clients recently. And my private clients are amazing and they're up to big things.
And so one of the things that we've been working on is this concept that is the title of today's episode, which is Unconditional Abundance. And it's a mindset, it's a perspective that I think is available to everyone, but this is like a high level concept. And so I want to preface that because like, I wouldn't have been ready to hear this in the beginning of my journey, just being really honest. I wouldn't have been ready to contemplate this concept. This is a very big concept.
This is a pretty spiritual concept. And one of the things I challenged my clients to consider is like, what would it be like to live in unconditional abundance, regardless of circumstance, regardless of the ups and the downs, the perception of lack, setbacks, obstacles, loss, unexpected expenses. What would it be like to live with unconditional abundance? And really living into that concept has already changed my life.
I started playing with it like while I was on a walk and while I'm coaching clients and while I'm at dinner with my husband, while I'm snuggling my girls on the couch, while I'm interrupting their fight, while I'm walking in my garden, you know, even before this, I had to check myself. Like, do I believe this, that this is possible? And it's like, I do. That being said, it's not something that I live in every day, but it's a concept that I think is available.
And so I have three stories for you on what this could be. But the first thing that I wanted to reference was a book that we did in the Quiet Wealth membership called The Having. If you haven't read The Having, it is such a profound wealth consciousness book. I highly recommend it. And it kind of speaks to this idea, this idea of unconditional abundance. And when I think of the word unconditional, it's like, I feel abundant regardless of conditions.
My abundance and how I feel and how I look at life is not condition, like there is no condition for it. I don't need certain conditions to make me feel abundant. I don't need certain things to happen for me to feel unlimited, peaceful, joyful, abundant. And so that book, The Having, really I've heard so many people message me about it just because I talked to people a lot for a long time.
And so I've been getting feedback and messages and insights shared with clients and colleagues and people from my audience, which is amazing. And so if you read it and love it, send me a message. I would love to hear about it and your breakthroughs. But the big idea for me is it's a perception and perception is a choice.
And so here's two questions that can help you. And then I'll get into the three stories that I want to share to kind of demonstrate. But the first question is what's the highest vibration thought available here? And living into that question will change your life. I mean, just applying that. So you're sitting at the grocery store and someone, you know, bumps into you and you drop soda and it's spraying everywhere. You have the choice in that moment.
Like what's the highest vibration thought? And what's funny about this is like sometimes it's not like the most amazing thought, but it makes you laugh or it makes you like calm down or it makes you relax. When my four year olds being moody, what's the highest vibration thought available here? It could be like, she's so great at being four. I learned that from Jody Moore.
She's so great at being four, right? When my launch doesn't go like I hoped it would, what's the highest vibration thought when the client doesn't resign? What's the highest vibration thought when the car needs to be fixed? What's the highest vibration thought? And that's our choice every day. It doesn't matter what circumstance you're bumping into. What's the highest vibration thought available?
When you have the awareness to ask yourself that question, like I said at the beginning of this episode, this is a ideal. I wouldn't have been ready for this conversation before I found this work. Like I wouldn't. So if this is hard to grapple with, especially if you're like in it right now with something, I understand. Come back to this concept at a different time. But for some of you, this is going to land in the perfect time that it's like, I'm ready for this kind of work.
It is a spiritual co-creative experience of life. I think it's how God sees us. That's my personal opinion. But like he has unconditional abundance. He needs nothing. That's another way I've said it is like needing nothing. It's like, it comes from the inside. It's not circumstantial. And so the other question that I've shared with clients and posted on social media and stuff through the years is like, how can I see this differently?
Which is like a similar question to what's the highest vibration thought. But I say, how can I see this differently? Like a prayer, like God, how can I see this differently? Like let me access a different thought from potentiality, right? Cause like I can't summon it. Help me tune into a different thought. Help me choose a different perception and perspective. Help me see this differently. Help me see this relationship differently. Help me see my money differently.
Help me see this client situation differently. I've prayed this prayer so many different times and the answer always comes. And so when you're in a moment of stress or frustration or lack, just try it. Help me see this differently and just notice whatever comes up. And so those are the questions that helped me. These three stories that I'm going to tell to kind of portray what unconditional abundance could be like, not as like a look at me, put me on a pedestal, but just like make it real and to make it come alive. I often will tell that to clients when I'm coaching.
I was like, can you make it real for me? Right. Can you tell me the real story? So the first one that I thought of when I was thinking of unconditional abundance before I had these words, right before I read the having, before I've made all the money, before I had a working business, I started studying money mindset books and I was reading, you're a badass at making money. And she was talking about the power of gratitude.
And at the time I drove this Yukon Denali that was old. And for whatever reason, this Yukon, when we drove around, it would like a ding, it would make this like dinging sound. It was like an alarm. Like the computer system thought something was wrong, even though we took it to the dealer, nothing was wrong. And so it was like an error in the computer system, not the actual car. And so there's not a lot they could do within our price range.
Like we could have had them take apart the computer or put a new chip in or something, but it was too expensive for us. We're like, we'll just let it ding. And so I drove around this car with my two babies. So like a baby baby and like a two year old and I was driving them around and it would ding randomly, you know, and every time that it would ding, like I learned and I trained myself to say grateful.
And I told Tegan to do it too, because I was reading this book about gratitude and we were driving around. It'd be like grateful, grateful, you know? And it's funny now because I drive a very different car and I have a very different financial reality. But I look back on that and like, what I'm experiencing now, I caused it with my mindset shift over time, which is pretty amazing.
And it's why I teach this work because I believe in it. I've seen it change my life. But at the time I didn't have any evidence. I was just hoping that this would help me change my relationship with money. And at the very least, it changed my relationship with my car. Actually, I bought a new key chain, which I've done many times. Every time I level up my car, I buy a new key chain for my keys. Cause it represents living in the feeling of the wish fulfilled to me.
If you're familiar with Neville Goddard's work, living in the feeling of the wish fulfilled is like what I want is already available. I'm just catching up with it. And so I buy this new key chain, I'm driving around my car and I'm saying grateful every time that it dings, you know, we're at a red light ding, ding, ding, ding, grateful. And so I remember this one day I was driving the girls to a place called jump man, jump, which is like an indoor playground basically.
And it's dinging and I had been saying it for a few weeks, but that day I felt it, you know, it ding, ding, ding, and I'm like grateful. And I turn around and Tegan goes, grateful, you know, in her own little two-year-old voice and something landed for me pretty deep. Like I was grateful for the car. Cause for a long time I was not, I resented the car. I wished it was different. I was frustrated. I was ashamed. I was embarrassed that I had to drive this car around.
And that day landed and I looked around at the mountains and the Valley that we were driving through. And the sun in the distance and the blue sky. And I felt grateful. Unconditional abundance. I felt it like nothing in my life had really, physically changed, but everything had changed for me. That's the power of unconditional abundance. And what's funny about that is we drove to jump man, jump. And like, I was like almost moved to tears.
I was emotional because it's like, I am so grateful. I have two healthy, beautiful girls. I get to be their mom. I get to be with them during the day. I have this car that gets me where I need to go. It was an awesome car. Like it was powerful. It was all wheel drive. It handled the snow amazing. Right. But none of that was available to me when I was tuned into the lack. When I tuned into the abundance of it, everything changed. And that car kept me safe.
It was an amazing vehicle as a new mom, even though it was old and I felt grateful for it. And then when I traded it and I got an Audi and then now I drive a Kia Telluride, which I love because it has the third row and the captain seats and everything that we want. But every time I've leveled up my car, I've done that practice of like finding ways to be deeply grateful for the car I already have, knowing the car that I want is on its way.
And so this idea, this concept of unconditional abundance, like when I applied it to the Yukon, the old dinging alert, alert Yukon, like I ended up loving that car. That's what's so funny. And I have lots of stories. And in fact one of the stories that I'm going to share in unlock your abundance is about Wesley's job and how this work radically changed our marriage, our financial future, so many things. Anyway, I digress.
The second story that I want to tell is about one of my first clients that I would meet at the Starbucks because it was like right around the corner from my house and I would walk there. What's funny is I wasn't really aware of the coaching industry as a whole. I was just like being a little life coach and I was grateful every chance I got to coach someone. And so I would walk to the Starbucks to meet her for our session at night because I would coach at night.
I didn't coach during the day, which is a funny phase of business looking back, but that's what I had available. I didn't have childcare. I had young babies. So it was like when my husband's home from work, I will do this and I would walk to Starbucks and life coach her. So we've coached on marriage, her small business. We coached on her mindset about showing up with confidence. We talked about parenting. We talked about all sorts of things.
Like I was just her life coach and I chose unconditional abundance partially because I wasn't aware of what else was available. Like she paid me $50 a session. I wasn't making a ton of money, but I was so grateful and I see that seed that I planted where I'm still so grateful for every client, every comment, every time you share that the podcast resonated with you.
Like I still let it hit me. And so I haven't lost touch with like what a gift it is to be in this industry, to do this work, to have this as my career. Like it is not lost on me what a gift it is. And that started a long time ago. There's a lot of people that feel like one client isn't enough. And I get that because you see other people who have tons of clients.
But in my journey, I was grateful for a singular client. I had one, then I had two, then I had three, then I had four, but it was a singular experience every time. I felt unconditional abundance every time I signed a client. And I know that that magnetized more clients to me and still does. I choose to believe in it. Say a thought that serves me. Like I choose the way people can feel my thoughts about them.
They might not be able to articulate it, but they can feel what I think about them. And so if I'm looking at the client in my Zoom room and I have this thought, like I wish I had more clients, I believe that my client can feel like I don't think they're enough for me. And I never want my client to feel that. I want to feel like they are a superstar and that like they are the one client in the world that I have, right? Like I have one client at a time.
I read this in the book, The Ultimate Coach. Someone asked like, Steve Hardison, how many clients do you have? And he said, one, the one I'm with. And that deeply resonated for me. And so unconditional abundance to me is like, no matter how many clients you have, even if you have zero, can you feel abundance for the people that you are serving right now? And if you can, if you can genuinely get to the place, you cannot fake this.
You can't fake the universal laws. Like you can't trick them. So if you're like pretending to feel abundant about your one client, that is not the same thing as like really feeling abundant for your one client. Really seeing the gift that they are really seeing them in their full power, really seeing them for all they could do are doing and all that they're becoming.
If you can really tune into that, everything changes. The third story is I was studying the book, A Course in Miracles, which I still feel like I am a student of that book. I don't read it every single day, but I come back to it a lot. And the lesson for the day, if you're familiar with A Course in Miracles, they have a student workbook and the student workbook is like every day, there's a lesson. And so the lesson that I read was miracles are seen in the light. It's gonna make me cry.
And the day that I read that, all my girls had this stomach bug. So like the works puking, gross, it was just gross. And I felt a little bit resentful. And I read this line, miracles are seen in the light. And it was winter. And I remember sitting in my kitchen, looking outside the window and like, they were all like sleeping and not feeling well. And I was like cleaning up the kitchen and stuff.
And I look outside my window and it began to snow, but it was like still sunny. So it was like one of those weird moments, like the vibe and the light was very unique. It looked dark like on one side and then light on the other side of my window. And so the sun was shining kind of sideways and the snow was coming down from the other direction. And so each snowflake looked like it was like lit up. Because of how the light was shining. And so it looked like falling little lights.
And then that morning I had read, miracles are seen in the light. Everything, again, everything changed. It was like, miracles are seen in the light. And I'd looked at my girls who were taking a nap, who had been sick. And everything changed. It was like, I want to be here. Because for a few days I really didn't want to be there. I was like, can anyone take care of these kids? I'm so tired of cleaning up puke and I don't want to do this anymore. And why me?
You know, my dramatic brain. But miracles are seen in the light. And I was like, I see these little lights falling from the sky. It felt like a little miracle. It really did. I'll never forget it. You know, they're floating. It looked like little lights were just floating down, even though it was snow. They were lit up and glowing. I looked at my girls and I started to cry. I was like, I choose this.
I want this. I want to be the one to take care of them. I want to be there for them when they cry, when they're sad, when they're sick. What a gift it is that I get to be here. And they got better. But like, I'll never forget that moment. That's unconditional abundance. It was available the whole time. I could have had that perception in the ideal world, you know, when they first got sick, I didn't. But then I would have missed the opportunity to really have that contrast.
To know what it's like to feel resentful and like a victim. And to really see the miracles are seen in the light. And that there's a different way of seeing this. And that I could choose unconditional abundance when my kids are sick. And it changed my whole experience of that time. And honestly, like every time they're sick, I think of that. Like, I get to be here for them.
There's nowhere I'd rather be. Like, I want to be that mom. And it's a gift and it's a blessing. Like I said at the beginning of this session, like, this is a hard conversation when you're in it. But if you are on the path of awakening, which like, you wouldn't be attracted to a podcast like this if you're not on the path, if you're not interested in it. These are the concepts that we start to want to embody. We want a higher level of thinking about things. We want to see things differently.
And we want mastery. Like we care about being squeaky clean with how we see our life. And we want conscious thoughts. All of my private clients choose that and want that. They want to see things differently. They want to choose the highest vibration thought as often as possible. Doesn't mean that they don't have human moments. Doesn't mean there's not periods of time that feel very difficult and hard. But they know what's available and they care about mastery.
They care about being a conscious creator. And so I wanted to share these stories with you, but also this concept. It is a higher level concept. It is a challenging concept. It could be easy to listen to this and make yourself wrong or not good enough. And I hope you know that's not my intention. I don't want you to feel bad if it feels hard to choose unconditional abundance. Sometimes it's hard for me to choose it, but I still know it's an available choice.
And knowing it's a choice makes my life richer. It makes my personal mastery journey more real. My personal evolution journey. I care about evolving. I care about squeaky clean energetics in my relationships where I am totally 100% responsible for what I think about my life, including the people in my life. I don't have to wait for circumstances or conditions to change to feel abundance. And that is the secret of all success, in my opinion.
As you contemplate this in your own life, I hope it's useful and I hope you don't weaponize it against yourself. I hope you use it to make your life better, to see the little miracles in the light so that you can feel the expanse of now, all the beauty, all the joy, all the possibilities that exist in this moment, because it's always this moment.
The invitation that I'm going to make to you, especially if you have never worked with me, is like, come join us for Unlock Your Abundance. We start June 19th. I'll have Elise link it in the show notes. Unlock Your Abundance is about transforming the shadows into gifts. Like I shared with the miracles are seen in the light, the snow and the girls being sick.
How do you take something that feels heavy and turn it into light, into a gift? And the Unlock Your Abundance is specifically about prosperity. So like your money, your finances, your business. It's not just for business owners, but it's for people who want to do this kind of alchemy work where it's like, we're going to look at what feels heavy and hard about prosperity, both financial, but also just like state of mind.
And we're going to do the work of turning it into a gift that blesses you and blesses your family, blesses the world. And so, again, that's called Unlock Your Abundance. It's about the Gene Keys, but it's about even more than the Gene Keys, because Gene Keys is one of the technologies that we're going to talk about. But we're going to talk about alchemy, turning shadows into gifts.
And so if this podcast resonated, Unlock Your Abundance will be a great next step for you. Many of you are already in. And so I'm really excited to do this work with you and to continue the conversation and honestly invite you into deep contemplation for your own life and what it looks like.
