Hey guys, welcome back to the podcast. I'm excited to be with you. Last week, I shared an interview with Mark Butler, who's amazing, and I know it would contribute to what we've been talking about with coaching. Today, we're going to take a pivot and talk about sacred time. And this concept I've referred to before, there was a podcast years and years ago by Julie Chanel, but at the time of her creating it, her name was Julie Stoyan. She recorded a podcast called Sacred Time in the 2020 Rule or something like that.
And this concept was like, moms need sacred time to work on things that they cannot work on if they're distracted. And so I'm going to build on that concept because I have been having my own breakthrough with it and I wanted to share it. So for the past three weeks, I've been really, even longer than three weeks, but the last few weeks, I feel like I've taken it to a whole nother level. I feel different and I feel more energized. I feel more clear. I feel just on fire.
I've been very diligent about this sacred time that we're going to talk about. And I wanted to preface it with, you don't have to do the things that I'm going to share in this podcast. I'm not sharing my schedule so that you do what I do. I'm sharing it to open up a possibility of your own sacred time and where you can fit it in, that's up to you, what you do in your sacred time, that's up to you. But I wanted to share my process because one, it helps me reflect, being really honest. Part of this podcast is for me and I tell my clients that all the time.
I'm like, if you're thinking about starting a podcast, do it for you first because that's actually how it works. When I share my podcast, when I teach, I get a lot out of it and I'm hopeful and I, of course, intend for it to be useful to you, but this is first and foremost intent for me to gather my thoughts. So sacred time, I wake up very early and this is why I wanted to preface it because I'm not saying I think you should wake up early. I ask myself, what do I really want? And I ask myself that a lot. It's a question that I think we have to come back to.
I have a busy life as a mom, I have three daughters. They're in school. They wake up early. My daughters do wake up early, so this is another thing that was kind of building. I would be woken up by them at like 6am, sometimes 5.30am, which is already early. I didn't like starting my day that way because I like to get up on my own terms, you know? So I don't like to be woken up by my girls and this is just a preference thing, but I like to prepare for my day by myself, even if it's just like up a little bit earlier than them so that I can have the mental capacity to be nurturing and patient and loving and excited for them.
And so this was a few months ago, I was like bumping into this reality where they would wake me up and I'd be groggy and frustrated and tired and I was starting my morning off frustrated and it was like leaking over into my day. Especially in this last season, you've probably heard me talk about the past few podcast episodes, like I've been really busy. I wrote a book called Quiet Wealth, I'll link that in the show notes. Yay! I launched the Quiet Wealth Collective, which is my membership. I launched a mastermind. You've already heard me talk about all these things and all the meanwhile, like I'm being a mom, right?
I work part-time and I'm picking my kids up from school, I'm taking them to school, we're going to soccer, right? I'm reading with them, and housework, and all the other things that you all have too. And so I felt this sense of frustration. This is my not-self theme, if you're familiar with human design, I feel frustrated when I'm not myself. And so there's this like buzzing energy of frustration that like I did not like in myself, it was making me short with my girls, it was making me a little agitated, like I just couldn't get enough done. So I was talking to Wesley, my husband, and was like, something's got to be different, like what can I do?
I had been thinking about getting a gym membership because I used to work out in our basement and I was like, you know what, I think I'm going to get a gym membership. And I started looking at the hours when I could actually go. I was like, I want this to be like my time because the other thing that was happening is I would wake up, I would go to work out, but like they were there the whole time kind of bugging me, asking me for food and saying that they wanted to change the music or whatever. And I didn't have that space to just be me. And then I would take them to school and then I would jump into client calls.
And so I was pouring from an empty cup and this is something that I teach my clients. And so it felt very out of alignment for me to be pouring from this empty cup. And I was like, I have got to fill my cup. And this podcast idea, The Sacred Time, came back to my mind. I didn't even listen to the episode, but I was reminded of this principle that like moms need sacred time to fill their cup, not just so that they can take care of people, but like I am worthy of feeling fulfilled and full and taken care of and not burned out. This is something that I really believe in.
And so after talking to Wesley, I got the gym membership and I started looking at my schedule and I was like, crap, where am I going to fit this in? And I had this idea. I was like, go at four in the morning. And that sounds crazy, but I've been doing it for a few weeks now and I feel so much better than I did before. And so, like I said at the beginning, this isn't that I think you should wake up at four in the morning, but finding space for my sacred time. And this is just the beginning. So like sacred time is a few things.
And this is something I teach inside The Quiet Wealth book called Elemental Productivity. There's four aspects of my life. And you're going to hear me start talking about this more and more because I am having major breakthroughs. And honestly, more is coming. I can't say too much because I'm in the process, but like I'm in a major transition period in my business, especially by the time you're listening to this, when it comes out on Friday and Conscious Coach Academy is closed, I'm going to be changing the name of this podcast. I'm going to be changing what I call some of my programs based on this shift.
Which is crazy. I'm creating sacred time for myself, focusing on the four elements. So fire is productivity in business. Water is balance and relationships. Earth is grounded in body. And then air is connected spiritually. I've been doing these four things every single day. And I've been doing them for a long time, but I feel like I've taken the intensity to the next level where I am very focused and dedicated. And it truly does feel sacred. And I'm having breakthrough after breakthrough because I'll share my whole morning stack with you. I go to the gym at four a.m. I walk and I stack. And stacking is a tool that I will be sharing a lot more about because I'm integrating stacking into many of my programs.
Stacking is part of the software that I use. And the way that I like to explain it is like self-coaching meets journaling meets praying, is how I use it. This combination, journaling, praying and self-coaching that I call stacking while I walk as I warm up for my workout. Then I have a hard workout. I come home and then I either read scripture or I read a wealth consciousness book or both. And then I use this stacking tool to clarify my thoughts and pray to get insight and revelation for my life. I also eat breakfast and then my girls wake up.
So I will have had almost like a full day experience by myself where I've taken care of my body. Usually when I listen to a business podcast or a business book, that's just what I like to do. And then I publish a post on social media usually or a thought on my Instagram stories. You probably see me doing this and you're like, oh, this is what she's doing. Yes, this is what I'm doing. So by the time I get home, I have filled my cup so much that I have more patience for my kids. I'm more optimistic. I have clear ideas. Me and Wesley go on date night. I have better follow through in my business. And so this has been rapidly changing my life.
And I'm saying that pretty early in, like I said, I've only been super committed to this for the past month or so, but I've been stacking this software that I use for like three or four months now. And I'm telling you, like I am quantum leaping in my understanding of who I am and what I meant to lead, how I want to run my programs, how I want to be a mom, how I want to be in my marriage. Things are rapidly changing on the inside of me. And I'm seeing the fruit of it in my business and in my life. And I'm like, this is crazy. So sacred time, like I said, there's four things that I do is like, I take care of my mind. I take care of my body. I take care of my spirit.
And I get something done in business, like some sort of learning and then also speaking what I'm learning. So I'm showing up being the lighthouse is a concept that I've talked about before. And these four things compound into more wisdom and wealth and not just wealth and money, like quiet wealth to write, like the presence in my life, the feelings of the spirit talking to me through my day, like the understanding that I have with my girls, my ability and my tolerance for things in my life has expanded. Right. Whereas months ago I was frustrated and felt like on edge. I feel like a deeper connection and openness and a slowness to my life that is allowing things to compound all because of sacred time.
Like I said, I'm sharing this with you not so that you wake up at 4 a.m. and do these things, but so that you can create your own version of sacred time, whether you do what I do, whether you're working out or not, whether you're reading scripture or not, whether you're reading with consciousness book or not. That's beside the point. I made a powerful decision that I was going to pour into me and I see the fruit of it because I can't help but think of like the law of the harvest. And this is something that we've talked about a lot in different aspects. And I've always talked about in the sense of like creating clients or making money.
But I'm seeing the law of the harvest in my own life, in my own wisdom and wealth expanding. And I'm not saying that, like, look at me. It's just like I want to teach other people this because it has been such a blessing. And so you're going to see some changes here. In fact, I don't know when exactly they'll take place, but you will see them because I feel them. I know and I teach like business is a reflection of our consciousness, what we are thinking, what we are believing is expressed in our business.
And so as I've been expanding my mind and talking to God in these stacks in the morning and making space for revelation and making space for planning and pouring into myself, I know that the business is going to reflect that and it already has. And so even my launch for CCA, I'm wrapping it up shortly. By the time you listen to this podcast, it'll be done. But I even launched it differently where I was like really in tune with like my people and the message that I wanted them to hear. And like my heart was really in it because I was tuned into the people that I am called to help. And I see that evolving as I evolve.
Like always, one of my favorite principles that I learned from one of my coaches is growth and evolution over a lifetime, right? Like it never ends. And it's fun to be in this transition period where I feel this opening and a clarity that I've been wanting and desiring because I felt frustrated like that not self theme and human design is really interesting because frustration tells me that something is out of alignment in my soul, right? Whatever I'm doing isn't what I'm meant to be doing. And as a manifesting generator, like I am meant to move quickly and I'm multi-passionate. So I have a lot of things going on in all these ways.
And so sacred time has been my space to think through what that means and looks like for me. And so I feel like a groundedness and a surety, a certainty in myself. And I'm excited to share that with you guys and to take the pivot in my business that you'll start to see unfolding to serve you at, I think, a higher level and a deeper level and a more expansive level. And so buckle your seat belts, folks. We're going for a ride. And like I mentioned, this isn't to say like you have to do this, or that you have to change your mind, or that you have to make pivots in your business.
I think in my experience, people are always making pivots because especially if you are an entrepreneur, studying personal development causes transformation in you because you are actively evolving and becoming and transforming. That means your business is going to follow suit. And so pivoting is a natural expression of who we are, in my opinion. Do some things stay the same? Yes. And I've noticed there's been some core elements of my business that have stayed the same and there's some new elements that have changed. And I am here for it all.
I just don't have judgment for it. So I make the shift, I make the pivot and we roll with it.
And that's what this season feels like. And so I just wanted to speak to this sacred time idea because I know how hard it is, especially if you're listening to this and you're a mom. And this is what's so funny about, I felt like it was going to be this like huge deal to tell Wesley, like, I want to go to the gym early before the kids are up. I was like worried he'd be nervous about me leaving the house or like that the girls would need me or whatever. He's like, of course, babe. Like I had so much reservation about him being on my team, but all I had to do was ask and communicate it. And so I wanted to speak that because sometimes we feel like we can't do things, but we never even ask for them.
And so this is your invitation to ask for what you need and to prioritize your own sacred time. When you do, you will feel unlocked energy like I know I do. And it didn't happen instantly, like the first day I was tired. But as I started to reap the rewards, right, like law of the harvest, the compounding returns in wisdom and wealth. It's not just one physical thing. It's not a physical change. It’s like multidimensional change and transformation, all because I started making space for me, especially if you're in a business that is taking care of people. It's like we get double whammied as moms when we're trying to take care of our kids and our business.
It's like we are always outpouring our energy and our effort and our focus. There has to be somewhere where you get back in return and you have to create the space to receive that. And in my experience, most women really struggle with receiving, even from themselves. So sacred time is a place for me to receive from myself and from God. Revelation, energy, activated, like I activate my body when I work out. I activate my mind when I'm reading. I activate my spiritual life when I'm receiving and praying and meditating in the morning. And the compound effect of those three things has been transformational for me. And I know this is just the beginning.
And I can tell you this, like, I wish I had really prioritized sacred time this way since I started my business. And I've gone through seasons like I've taught this lesson before, but I feel like I have a new level of understanding how important it is to make it about you first. Right. For me, for you, for us, is a frame that I learned from one of my mentors. And it sounds selfish at first, but when you really dig into it, it really starts to make sense. If I always do things for other people, I will burn out. I will run out of ideas and energy. I will secretly resent people. And I'm not at my best.
And one of the things that sacred time has allowed me to do is live in higher integrity with myself, because one of the things that is one of my messages is like I want to give my family my best, not my business. And that's hard to do, because I think in a professional sense, it's easier to do more for clients than it is for ourselves and our families, because we kind of default at home. And I've been very aware of that in my own life. And I've even written about it, but I don't like that part of business that it like defaults to having less available for my family.
Sacred time, I think, mitigates that where you are pouring into yourself so that you are a more powerful light in your home and in your business. And so that's just my invitation to you is like, where can you create sacred time and keyword create? You're not going to get it. You're going to create it. You're going to look at your calendar and think, I cannot do this. I do not have time for this. And I'm going to challenge you to really look where can you create it for you. So that you can expand your mind and your spirit and your body and the power that you feel on a day to day basis. Like that's the fruit of sacred time.
The next thing that I'll share, like I mentioned, it puts me in higher levels of integrity. I taught this in the Quiet Wealth Collective last week, but it's really resonated. So I wanted to briefly share it. The three inner empires, I teach this in the book, too. So get the book, get the link, buy it on Amazon, the Quiet Wealth book. I teach the three inner empires of quiet wealth, which are integrity, vision, and gratitude. And so, you know, we have the vision. So we know where we're going, where you are in gratitude for our day to day life. And then integrity is how we move from gratitude to vision.
So if let's say gratitude for what is is point A and vision for what could be is point B, integrity is how we move from point A to point B, which is in alignment with our values. And one of the things that I've seen and coached many women on especially is like if your house is in disarray, and I don't mean like your physical house, like your home. Your home life is in disarray, it is very hard to build. Not that you can't do it. There's seasons, right?
But there's some level of integrity in your soul that when you know you're taking care of your own home and the people who live there and yourself included, that the business makes more sense because you're expanding for abundance and you are an integrity because of your values. Like if you resonate with me at all, my guess is like you want to run a family-first life, business second. And so the way that it fills in is like you have to figure out how you can do that on a day by day by day basis.
Because like we've talked about this before, like, as you live your days, so you craft your life. Robert Sharma, it's one of my favorite quotes in the book, because this compound effect, right, starts to leak into other aspects. And so when I am taking care of the things that matter most to me, and I am an integrity with my soul, building feels different. And so I want to encourage you to spend time thinking like truly like, where can you put sacred time in your life? If you're already doing it, how can you intensify it? How can you deepen it? How can you make it even more useful to you? Whether that's like really going harder in a workout or really studying or whatever.
And I'm excited to share this stacking tool with you. In fact, maybe I'll link up a way for you to explore it. I think I'm going to do that. So look at all the links, by the book, get the stacking tool and start experimenting with your sacred time, because this takes things to the next level in a way that is hard to describe, but very, very powerful to experience. And that's what I want for you, not just to listen to my words, but to experience this for yourself. So that's my invitation to you. Live with gratitude, have a vision so you know where you're going, and use integrity to bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be by creating sacred time for yourself.
Okay, stay tuned, ladies and gentlemen, this is going to be a fun transition and pivot. I'm excited. I'm excited for what's on the horizon. I'm excited for what is already happening. I'm excited for what has already happened. Like it's such a cool career and I'm grateful for all of you. If you feel inclined, share this with a friend and I'll talk to you soon. Bye.
