Hello and welcome back to the Conscious Coach Podcast. If you're listening to this, the Conscious Coach Academy is open. And I just wanted to put a plug right in the beginning that you are invited. You are not obligated, but you are invited to check it out. You will see that link in the show notes. The Conscious Coach Academy is my signature program. I've been teaching it, let's see, since 2021, helping coaches sign one-on-one clients.
So it's specifically for coaches. Maybe you don't want a membership. Maybe you don't want a course. But if you love one-on-one coaching and you want to create what I call like your client machine so that you're always creating clients. Like I teach that process in depth inside the Conscious Coach Academy. So click the link, read about it, join us. We're going to be having a three-day live bootcamp at the end of September. And I haven't done a bootcamp like this ever, but it's going to be really fun. And you'll spend three days with me.
Of course, the recordings will be available if you can't come. But being live will allow me to help you answer your questions, make decisions, get clarity, your specific niche or your specific problem in business. Like I will help you unlock whatever is going on. So you can read more about the Conscious Coach Academy and the live three-day bootcamp. itsambersmith.com/cca. It's also in the show notes. But I wanted to put that plug right in the beginning because if this episode is coming out on Friday, that means today early bird ends. If you're listening to this after Friday, enrollment is still open until September 18th. Those are the details.
Let's dive into today's podcast. I'm calling it the three systems because there are three systems that I teach inside the Conscious Coach Academy. So I wanted to give a overview of what they are. And honestly, you could listen to this episode and go and execute and apply what I'm sharing and see results in business. Like it is that powerful. Obviously, I teach it more in depth inside the academy, but I wanted to share an overview so you can even know like what do I teach inside the academy.
So this is part of the Abundant Coach Series that I'm doing until the CCA closes. And I have some more fun episodes up my sleeve. So see you in a future episode as well when you're listening to this one. Let's dive in. So the three systems. The first one is the Coaches Core Four. The Coaches Core 4 is something that I like to think of as like a daily rhythm. It's something that I still do every day. And I think I will do it till I die if I have a business. I think it is so useful to have this frame because either I did it or I didn't.
And that's what I tell my clients is like make the Coaches Core Four binary, which means either yes, check, I did it or no, I didn't. And so there's four things that I do every single day to build my client creation machine. So there's four things. Number one, serve one person. And I mean, serve them. Spend the time to send a voice message, share a podcast link, screenshot a book page that made you think of someone, send a video. Really, really serve someone so that they feel seen and loved and heard by you.
Number two is initiate 10 conversations. I like to do this on Instagram, but you can do this on LinkedIn, a Facebook group, email. It doesn't matter. But you are initiating a conversation. How I use it, and this is a distinction that I think is important, is that coaches show up like a peer. In fact, in the CCA, I teach the peer distinction, which is all about like the importance of understanding how you show up as a peer is always how you meet new people. You do not show up as a coach right away. You show up like a peer. And over time, the coach client relationship is forged. But no one wants to meet you if you're like, I'm going to dominate you. I can help you solve your problems, especially in the form of like a DM.
People want to feel like a peer. And then the relationship can grow over time. But we start these conversations like a peer. So I'll give you an example. It's like commenting on people's posts. Let's say you see someone's post about being in the newborn phase. You are not going to make a comment that's like, oh, let me coach your brain about how you're tired, but you really shouldn't believe you're tired. And here's three things that helped my clients who are postpartum. Like, no, no, no. You're going to say, hey, mama, I see you. You're doing an amazing job because that's how a peer would show up.
So you're commenting, you're responding like a normal human, like a peer. I used to say that. For a long time, I said, show up like a normal human. I'm going to add, show up like a peer to build connections online. Like I said, this can be on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Facebook groups, TikTok. It doesn't matter. But you are communicating with people, 10 people. You are initiating a conversation. So far from the Coaches Core Four, we're serving one person, we're initiating 10 conversations. The next thing that we're going to do is we're going to publish valuable content somewhere.
That could be on Instagram. That could be on Facebook. That could be on LinkedIn. That could be on email list. That could be a podcast. But you're publishing something so that people can find you and see that you're open for business. The fourth part of the Coaches Core Four is simply making a call to action. So I did it in this podcast. This is part of my Coaches Core Four today, is I made an invitation for you to read more about the Conscious Coach Academy. If I had spots for one-on-one coaching, I might say, I have spots for one-on-one coaching. Send me a message. Reply to this email. Comment, client, whatever.
Give people an action to do. And the power of this is in the compound effect. So I've been doing Coaches Core Four, I didn't call it this, but I've been doing Coaches Core Four for years. So the compound effect of that is like, I have hundreds of people that I have relationships with that I've built over time. Some of them become clients and some of them don't. Some of them refer clients and some of them don't. Some of them share my content and some of them don't. I see all of them as very valuable to me because we are in the game of relationships.
I do the Coaches Core Four every single day. I have thousands of messages. I have contacts and network and people and an audience who I've developed a relationship built on trust and value. That's super valuable to a business. I've also had practice creating content and making calls to action. So not only am I building relationships, I'm also practicing making content and giving calls to action. This compounds into insane results. And this is what I'm going to warn you of. It's easy to hear these Coaches Core Four and be like, that's all new. That's not transformational. That's not anything I haven't heard before. It's like, yeah, but are you doing it?
I check in with myself. I choose to believe it. I don't know if this is helpful or not, but one of the things that I believe is like what I'm reaping right now was planted like 90 days ago or more. The Coaches Core Four might not sign a client today, but the relationships that you build and the seeds you plant over time will turn into fruit. And if you do it every day, it starts to compound in a massive way. So if you are always planting seeds, there will come a time in your business where you are always harvesting fruit. And the Coaches Core Four is the frame that we do that with.
The next system that I teach is something called Lighthouse Marketing, which is more of a content-based frame. So it's like, how are you showing up so that people can find you? We don't want to hide ourselves. And like in the Bible, it's like, don't hide your light under a bushel. That's the same principle here. We don't want to be the best kept secret. Now, are there coaches who build their business word of mouth? For sure. But who I'm speaking to in this program is like, you want to use social media, or you want to use an online platform to find clients, which means you need to be creating value so that people can find you.
The next piece of the Lighthouse Marketing that I teach is the Three Fields of Creation. So there's the field of potentiality, the field of possibility, and the field of predictability. One of my secret weapons, I would say, is that I choose to believe in and create in potentiality, the realm of like imagination. I know it sounds cheesy, but stay with me. If I'm using predictability, who's in my DMs today? Who's paid me money today? Who's signed up for a consult today? I will feel tight. I will feel like things aren't working. I will always wonder if they're going to sign or not. I'll feel very attached because we're looking at what results are happening right this minute.
To me, in the realm of potentiality, the field of potentiality is more future-based. So I'm thinking about people that I don't even know. I'm imagining my best client. I'm imagining people who want to reach out to me. I'm imagining people who are figuring out how to work with me. I'm imagining people who are the silent but like listen to every podcast episode. They follow me on social media and they haven't said anything, but they're watching. Like I'm creating for them. I teach a concept called the Conscious Creation Matrix, where you combine the power of clear desires with the power of detachment. So I know what I want, but I'm detached from it.
The realm of potentiality is where we can stay detached. This is how we get out of needy energy. This is how we get out of graspy-for-client energy. In this zone, we can be certain, but detached. We can be excited to sign clients, but we're never like, I need a specific client to sign. We don't get into that feeling when we stay in potentiality. Lighthouse Marketing is about creating for people in potentiality, where you're shining your light for all to see. And that looks like podcasts, content, going live, publishing posts, carousels, reels, writing emails. And I kind of go into like the cadence that I like to go into.
I have all of those things. I have an email list. I have this podcast. I create on Instagram. I shine my light so that people can find me. And the key part is move toward me. So clients move from potentiality into possibility, into predictability, and then they sign. And that timeline we have to let go of because clients are going to move on their own timeline. Our job is to be a constant and steadfast force for good. If we use the lighthouse as a metaphor, which is something that I love, the lighthouse does not move. The lighthouse does not go into the water and try to find the people that are drowning. The lighthouse is on the shore, shining a light.
And the people swim towards the lighthouse. That's how I see it. Because we're not in the game of saving people. We're in the game of supporting and leading and for sure helping people. That's the job. But not helping because they're incapable. Helping because they're powerful. This concept is something I call see people in their power. We see them in their power, able to create and transform. But our responsibility is to shine the light, be a steadfast force, never give up. We're here until this works. We're adding value. We're being a resource for people on the shore. And we do that every day.
And when you combine Lighthouse Marketing with Coaches Core Four, you will sign clients. You will. It's just a matter of time. And this is what's sad is most people give up too soon. Whereas if they just stayed in the game, doing the Coaches Core Four, doing Lighthouse Marketing, clients would find them. It's just not on the timeline that you want it to. And so one of the caveats of all this work is like until it works, are you doing Coaches Core Four and Lighthouse Marketing until clients find you?
The third system that I think is especially valuable after you've been in business for a while is elevating your relationships. This sounds like renewals. This sounds like referrals. This sounds like collaboration. This sounds like networking. So like, not only are you deepening your relationships with people who are paying you, you are also solidifying relationships with peers, with people who can collaborate, with people who are ahead of you in business so that you can co-create. And when you elevate your relationships in business, business is all about people, right? So like the impact of this, the ripple effect is so powerful.
These three systems work together. This is actually how you grow a word of mouth business. The Coaches Core Four, where you're actually having conversations with humans. To recap, you're serving one person, you're initiating 10 conversations, you're posting something of value somewhere, and you're making a call to action. You do that every single day. Then you add in Lighthouse Marketing. This understanding, this frame of understanding people are watching you from places known and unknown, that clients come from places known and unknown. And your whole job is to be the lighthouse until they get close enough to actually book a call with you.
So that looks like podcasts, emails, content, events, masterclasses, free calls. There's lots of things that can go into it, but the idea is, is you are on the hill of finding your light so that people can find you who are looking for you. And then number three, you are elevating your relationships over time so that you get renewals and referrals so that you get people who share your posts on social media, that share you with their friends and their grandma and their aunt and their college best friend or whatever, so that your clients post about you, so that your clients share your content, so that you can collaborate with people who are in the same niche as you. Like there's so many possibilities when you elevate your relationships.
All three of these things working together create magic. They create a situation where you have an inflow of people wanting to work with you. And this isn't just for business coaches. This is for life coaches, fitness coaches, relationship coaches, any kind of coach. This is actually how you grow your network. This is actually how you have conversations with people who become clients. Clients don't come from the sky. We create them. And this is how, and I really like that distinction too, is we don't find clients, we create them.
Because one of the things that I have found to be true, and I've shared this story before, I've created clients in places that I did not intend to. And it's not because I have some magic juice or something. It's like clients are created in conversations, which is why I started this whole series off with the art of one-on-one conversations. This stuff builds. People are hiring you to have great conversations, conversations that change their life. And so at the core of these three things, relationships, Lighthouse Marketing, and Coaches Core Four is conversations.
Putting yourself in places and situations to have great conversations with people is at the heart of what we do. Now, there's a way to do it. There's an energy. In the Conscious Coach Academy I talk a lot about being and energy and being who you want to be while you do these things. Because it's not just doing it. You don't want to be needy. You don't want to come off as graspy. You don't want to repel people because you need clients. You want to do in a seductive way, not in a seductive like sex way, but a seductive business way where it's like, they want you, they want to work with you.
So the energy of certainty, the energy of belief, the energy of non-neediness, abundance, that's how we approach these three things. And when all of these three things are working together, I promise you will have miracles in your business. Coaches Core 4, Lighthouse Marketing, elevate your relationships. This compounds into amazing things. And it's something that you can do your whole coaching career. I still do these things. And so I wanted to share it with you. I hope it was helpful. If it aligns with you, join the CCA. Like I said today, early bird ends, and I will see you inside. And if CCA isn't right for you, that's okay. I will see you in another episode of this podcast. Okay, talk to you soon. Bye.
