As you live your days, so you craft your life. That quote is by Robin Sharma, and that is what we're going to be talking about today. I've been thinking a lot about the power of, like, daily work, and I didn't know what word to use because it's not just work as in physical labor, although that is included.
It's the way that we structure and honestly, like, commit to living our days that really craft our life, like with the quote that I shared in the beginning. And I've been thinking about this a lot with my clients because this is what it comes down to. I taught an in-person workshop, which if you were there, it was so fun to meet you in person here locally.
One of the things that I was talking about was the idea of entrepreneurs, especially. We want to hit these, like, home runs. We want the Grand Slam. We want something magical to happen in our business where it's like the launch that changed everything. Does that happen? Sure. I know that there are people who have instant crazy success and it seems like it's overnight, but the vast majority of entrepreneurs, it is like hitting singles.
If you think about baseball, right, where we hit a single, hit a single, hit a single, hit a single, and our batting average is amazing versus this waiting, this hoping, this wishing for this one big solution. Like all our problems disappear overnight. The debt is gone in an instant.
The launch is filled in one week. We want those big magical events. But what's interesting is the big magical results come from like tiny commitments to actions and behaviors and thoughts and daily activities. I know that this isn't a super sexy topic, but I wanted to share it because this has been changing my life. Teaching these principles and sharing them. I taught a framework at the abundance workshop that I wanted to share here and I call it the elemental entrepreneur.
It's not like my idea. I got this idea actually, I was in a program that he taught what's called the core four and the core four is basically body, being, balance, and business. So you take care of your body, you take care of balance, which is your relationships. You take care of business, which is obviously like entrepreneurship, or if you're in a career, you take care of the money. So body, balance, being, and business. And being is your relationship to divinity or to God.
So those four things you focus on mastering on a day to day basis. I took that and I kind of made it my own and I call it the elemental entrepreneur, which is basically fire, water, earth, and air. The elemental entrepreneur brings in all four elements every day. Like I mentioned at the beginning, this is how you actually craft a day where like this becomes your life. I wrote an email that seemed to really resonate with people about the four dimensional life versus one dimensional. This is something that I feel really called to speak about because it's something that I have wanted.
I think there's a lot of people who teach business and it's very one dimensional where it's like, this is what it takes. And I love following these people. I learn a lot about business from them or like marketing, whether it's marketing principles or sales or making amazing offers.
And you can think of some of your mentors, whether that's books you've read or courses you've taken or masterminds that you've been a part of, where it was like all business. On the other side of the equation, I think of books I've read that has been like all spirituality or like consciousness or meditation or mindset. And then other books I've read have been all about relationships and marriage and parenting and friendships and having a relationship with yourself.
Then there's a whole nother part of content and books and coaching and mentoring that's like longevity and health and fitness and what you put in your body and building muscle and macro counting and all of that world. These four parts of our world are often separated and taught separately. But what I have been obsessed with recently is the integration of all four of these happening at once, a four dimensional approach to success.
And I've talked about this in different ways through the years, holistic success. Recently, you've probably heard me talk about quiet wealth. I started a little cohort that I'm really excited about, all about quiet wealth. I just can't get this out of my head, this idea of like four dimensional living, quiet wealth, all four domains of my life working in tandem. So I'm expanding. I love the word expansion because actually I wrote this in my notes on a walk the other day.
I think if you use personal development as a way of fixing yourself, you enter a game that you don't really want to play. It's tiring. You're trying to fix problems. You're looking at your relationships for the problems or your business for the problems that you can solve versus the game of expansion, which is like, I love where I'm at and I want more. It's not about fixing yourself or fixing your loved ones or fixing your business. It's about creating.
It's about growth. That's how I see the elemental entrepreneur, which is that my framework, like I said, was rooted in something that I learned as body, being, balanced, and business. I teach it like fire, water, earth, and spirit, air. So fire is the fire of productivity in business. Every day I'm doing something that moves my business forward, that creates sales, that is maybe engaging in marketing, something that will produce cash in my business for my family.
Water is like the balance of relationships. So it could be me going on a date night with my husband. It could be spending time alone with my kids. It could be going on a family vacation.
It could be going on a couples vacation. It could be writing them a note. It could be sending a nice text. It could be going on a walk alone with Wesley at the end of the day. Whatever it is, something intentional that buoys up my relationships with love and care and dedication, something intentional. I'll go into each of these in a little bit, but just to cover the four, kind of like a 20,000 foot view.
Then we get to earth, which is grounded in my body. For me, that's fitness and fuel. So I work out and I try to eat things like protein, like green stuff that gives me the fuel for my day. And I am not an expert. So this is what's interesting about this four dimensional life is that I am not necessarily like the health expert or the relationship expert, but I do want to speak to this idea of expansion in all areas at the same time. That has been very, very interesting to me.
And so obviously if you scroll back in my podcast, you've seen this play out because it's what I've been thinking about all the time and talking about. It's really resonated with my people. They want this. And so I wanted to share this framework, this elemental entrepreneur framework, because I think it might be interesting for you to take and run yourself.
So grounded physically is mostly like what am I eating and how am I moving my body? It could also be like chiropractic care. It could be getting massages. It could be red light therapy. I mean, there's so many different aspects of health and longevity that are coming out that are amazing. So definitely do your research. But I think that's part of the elemental entrepreneur is fueling and taking fitness seriously as an entrepreneur so that you have the energy to sustain your success and to have the energy to be with your kids and to be with your loved ones and to live a long life, long, happy, healthy life.
And the fourth one is air, which I think of as like the spirit. For me, that's praying and meditating. It's connecting into my source. It's reminding myself who I really am. It's making space for a spiritual part of my day. So the elemental entrepreneur is a framework where every day I'm doing these four things: the fire of productivity, the water of balance and relationships, the grounded earth and then the air of spirituality.
So it compounds and the compound effect is, I think, what Robin Sharma was hinting at in that quote, where it's like, as you live your days, so you craft your life. What's interesting about this is, like I said, there's lots of people who can teach one aspect of success in these areas, but I really want to be an advocate for all four happening at the same time, because that has been my experience and what I genuinely live day to day. That doesn't mean that I'm perfect in any way. I definitely am not. But I will say that I make it a priority to emphasize and to spend time with all four areas.
And that is why at the beginning of my business, I remember my husband saying, like, as long as our family, like we don't lose sight of what matters most, I'm good to build wealth with you. Because I was really inspired about building wealth and creating a legacy and building a business, creating physical, tangible, monetary abundance. And he's like, I'm in as long as it doesn't sabotage our relationship, you and me.
And as long as our kids are still the priority. That was always on my mind, because if you look at the entrepreneur space, there are very few people who truly like have it all at the same time and can speak to it. Like I said, it's not because I'm perfect. I don't pretend that I'm on this pedestal, but I will say, like, this is real for me. These are things that I actually think about and take part of every day. So the elemental entrepreneur is a framework that I think you could try on and see how it works for you.
And so I wanted to share for me, like the elemental entrepreneur, I write little emojis in my phone, fire, water, earth and air, and I give myself an intention for the day. When I was brand new in business, I didn't have this framework like the elemental entrepreneur, but I remember it was intentional. Like every day I would make my baby's belly laugh. I was like, I'm going to make them belly laugh because it was the intentional piece.
Every day I'm making them food and getting their hair done, brushing their teeth like that doesn't count. It was a conscious choice of something that I was going to do that day supported a relationship that I was building. Every day I'm going to make them belly laugh. Every day I'm going to send a text to Wesley of appreciation for what he does for our family at work.
That's kind of how it started was like just a conscious choice to do something that built, that added. I think there's a lot of life where we're taking away things that we don't want. And so the elemental entrepreneur is a game of addition. Not going to surprise you if you've been in my world because I believe in abundance, right? So I'm not going to tell you to take away something. This isn't about stopping your scroll on social media. This isn't about stopping how much time you watch TV.
That's not even what this is about. It's about adding it to your day, a game of abundance. So when you deploy or work or work the process of the elemental entrepreneur, this is about adding stuff to your day that supports the game of expansion that you're trying to play with your family, with your business, with your body and with your spirituality.
As a possibility, sometimes business feels bad when we have neglected the other areas of our life that are equally important. And so I love the framework of the elemental entrepreneur because it's all four things happening at the same time on a day to day basis, because like Robin Sherman says, as we live our days, so we craft our life. So I wanted to share this framework with you, however you want to execute it.
So it depends on where you're in business. If you are brand new, the fire of productivity is going to look different than someone who's been in business for 10 years. The fire of productivity in the beginning looks like sending messages, posting calls to action on your social media, having consults with people, posting content with a called action to get on your email list or like recording a podcast.
Like today, this is part of my fire of productivity. I have other things, but there's something intentional every day that is fueling the fire of productivity. Every day I am balancing in relationships. For me, it's my husband and my kids. Every day I am focusing on fitness and fuel. Sometimes that's a walk, and sometimes that's lifting heavy. Sometimes that's drinking a green smoothie, and sometimes it's just eating a salad for lunch, something fueling my body intentionally. The other things that I like to do, like I said, are pray and meditate or journal. Those are the things that fuel my spirituality.
And when you have a track record of those four things happening all at the same time, miracles start to happen. This isn't something that's overnight success, like instant six-pack, an instant seven-figure business, an instant marriage on fire. It's something that you gradually create, but you look back, and the compound effect is miraculous.
I love studying sports, and like athletes, the mindsets are amazing. And one of the things that Kobe Bryant did that I think is very interesting that kind of speaks to this elemental entrepreneur idea is that he used to start to practice two or three times a day. There came a certain point, the compound effect was so great that even if his teammates started to practice two times, he had thousands of hours on them.
Let's say he practiced for 10 years, and he was practicing twice a day, every day, even on vacation, like he was a madman. But also, he went down as one of the greats in the game. I think business is like that. If I dedicate my elemental entrepreneur framework every day, and I'm doing things every day that fuels my business, that fuels my relationship, that fuels my body, that fuels my spirituality, I will look back in 10 years and have success in all domains of my life, all at once.
And it will look slow in the beginning, but the compound effect will be so great that people will wonder how I did it. I already get that a little bit, like when people don't know how I do it all. And what's interesting is, it's by small and simple things are great things brought to pass. It is not this miraculous thing, it is small. And so it's easy to overlook the power of this framework, and you may or may not do it.
But I will tell you that the great ones do it. That's what Robin was saying. It's not just the idea of it, it's actually doing it. It's easy for me not to go on a walk in the afternoon. But by doing it, I am compounding my results because of my dedication and action on a day-to-day basis. I wanted to share it with you in case one that it helps you, and to invite you to make it your own.
I share what works for me. You can do whatever you want to do based on your history. If you're a super athlete, the way that you take your fitness to the next level might look different than someone who hasn't been working out for the past 20 years. Either way, this is your individual game. This is your protocol or your opportunity, very, very distinct to you. I share mine, not that I think that you should do it like me, but hopefully to inspire you to consider how you could do it.
What would that look like for you? What would it look like to spend time on your relationships? What would it look like to spend time on your body? What would it look like to grow your business? What would it look like to deepen your spirituality all at the same time in this season of your life? To me, it gave me a sense of purpose to my days, like every day I can win, every day I can make progress, every day I'm compounding my results. This is where you get to be in the miracle. I'm not like, oh, I did it today and nothing happened.
It's like, no, I'm committed to doing this for the rest of my life. And I am so excited to see the compound effect, the exponential effect this will have because of my commitment, because I'm winning my days, because as I live my days, so I craft my life. I want to share it with you.
I hope it was helpful. If it was helpful to you, it'll be helpful to a friend. So share, please, with someone that came to mind. And I will see you in the next episode. Bye.
