Translating Inspiration

Creativity is the bridge between the formless and the form.

Creators, like us, take ideas and turn them into things.

Musicians do this with sounds, melodies, lyrics, composition, and production.

Artists do this with paint, clay, pencil.

Entrepreneurs do this with offers, experiences, literature, products, software, services.

Coaches do this with perception, ideas, physiology, psychology, thoughts, emotions, vision.

We are turning something intangible into something tangible.

I think of it like translating inspiration.

The formless ideas that are circulating in the form of thoughts, or even vague ideas... long to become physical.

I think of Steve Jobs and is idea for the iPod... a ground breaking idea decades ago is now commonplace.

To create something that has never been created before, he had to translate his inspiration.

He had to take ideas and turn them into something physical.

Your business vision is the same.

The biggest ERROR newer coaches make is dismissing their own ideas.

They thing they are crazy.

Or that they are just dreamers.

Seasoned coach-entrepreneurs learn to trust their ideas from a place of deep faith they will become their reality.

But I firmly believe if the idea came to you... YOU are the steward of the vision.

Which means you're not crazy or impractical.

You're just experiencing the intangible version of the finished product.

No one else can "see" it -- but in a very real way, you already see it.

Maybe it's a vague idea.

A hope.

A glimpse.

But as you translate the inspiration into a plan, into powerful BELIEFS, then into powerful expectations.... 

You can create miracles.

So don't dismiss your ideas.

EVERYTHING that was ever created or ever will be created starts with a thought.

Nurture the vision.

Keep the faith.

Take aligned action.

Stick with it until it comes to fruition.

That's the formula.

It's just that most people abandon the vision too soon.

Don't be like most people. ;)
