Abundance Code: I Coach Around Alignment

I don't believe in cookie cutter coaching.
What works for me won't necessarily work for you.
What works for one client won't necessarily work for all my clients.
As an example, I was coaching a long time private client a few months ago on her ideal calendar, work flow, and business situation.
She had created a ton of success, but she was getting more specific about what she wanted: less calls on her calendar. more leverage.
In our session I called her out when she said maybe she wanted to explore selling a short term private client package.
I said, "this might be spicy, but I don't think you want ANY private calls on your calendar."
Quiet.
I continued, "I think you imagine your ideal day being something like this.
You wake up and have luxurious amounts of space in your calendar To write, to experiment with ideas, to get a big whiteboard out and doodle thoughts and processes. You have a slow lunch You take walks to think deeply. You review client's words, but you aren't on Zoom.
You have minimal calls on your calendar. You have a lot of space to do what you want, to do creative work. Not client calls."
She had teared up because it landed for her. We sat in a beautiful silence for a bit, because the clarity deeply resonated.
The thing is... I couldn't give that coaching to all my clients.
This was bespoke for her situation, her desires, her skillset, her vision.
I coach around alignment.
1. Understand what you really really want.
There are seasons where you may want more calls on your calendar. There are seasons where you may want less.
You might want lots of private clients or you may want to get paid for your art, your writing, or something else.
You have to know yourself.
Spend time journaling, meditating, and unplugging from the bombardment of social media.
Get in tune with the whisperings of your spirit

2. Know how you work best.
I recommend researching tools like the Enneagram, Human Design, and MBTI to get to know yourself
HERE'S THE CAVEAT
I like to tell my clients that tools like human design can contribute to your circumstantial power, but they do not take away your personal power.
You are not a victim to your human design or enneagram profile...
But you can use the information to help you:
- work according to your energy preference
- make decisions that work for you and not for others
- find rhythms of work, play and rest
- understand yourself better to help inform who you hire for support, what you experiment with, and the business model that works best for you
3. Prioritize your energy, how you feel, and get support that is based on alignment so you don't have to force things.
One of my favorite books to reference is Power vs Force by David Hawkins MD, PhD
Power is when you are aligned. You believe thoughts and speak words that are lined up with what you want instead of being counter to what you want
You create from the energy of love, inspiration, belief instead of doubt, fear, or resistance.
You allow more and force less.
You trust more and are skeptical less.
Getting into alignment is about slowing down, believing bigger, creating with love, and enjoying the process more.

The key here is to focus on your alignment.
Notice when you are forcing something. Tend to how you feel and choose thoughts that help you feel better and more empowered when you can.
Stop judging yourself and others.
Find the path that works for you. You will know it's your path because it's the path of least resistance.
More fun, less force.
More joy, less comparison.
More creating, less distracting.
