Abundance Code: How to Make a Quantum Leap (3 Steps)

Dec 30, 2024

"Quantum leaps won’t happen if you’re living life with a lukewarm heart." Price Pritchett

Before we jump in, I want to put a quick plug here for all my local friends in Utah County (or close to it!)

I am hosting an in person experience with my friend Megan Teerlink for coaches who want to combine mindset, business, meditations and visualization.

It's called COACH FROM SOUL, and it's happening on January 17th in Alpine, UT.

The first time I heard the term quantum leap, I was intrigued.

Questions began flooding my mind...

How do you make a quantum leap?

Are quantum leaps even real?

Can anyone experience a quantum leap?

It captured my ego's attention because the vibe of a quantum leap is fast success. What we all want even if we know it's not logical...

You're getting this email on New Years' Eve, and now is the perfect time to consider a quantum leap in 2025...

But it's probably not what you think (even though it's such a good hook, right?)

You Have To Know What You Want

"Quantum leaps won’t happen if you’re living life with a lukewarm heart." Price Pritchett

I've never heard of anyone accidentally experiencing a quantum leap. You have to spend time thinking about, pondering, and getting familiar with what you want.

Get clarity about what you want:

- describe your ideal day

- what kind of business success do you want to experience

- what kind of clients would you love to see in your calendar

- how you spend your time off

- the structure of your weeks

Beyond the mechanics of the Good Life, begin paying attention to what lights you up.

The topics you love studying.

The ideas that get your mind buzzing.

The things you feel compelled to save when you're scrolling.

Quantum Leaps don't come when you have a "meh" attitude.

You have to fuel the vision and nurture your beliefs. You have to paint a picture in your mind about what you really want... like Dan Sullivan says, the future is your property. So you have to protect it and take care of it.

"Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?" - Mary Oliver

You have to have some soul involved in this process.

It can't just be logical.

And, the hard part... you have to take some risks.

By declaring what you want, you expose yourself to the possibility of disappointment. This is why most people shy away from sharing what they really really want-- they don't want to be disappointed.

But if you're going for a quantum leap experience, you have to be willing to risk disappointment and get clear about what you want.

Once you know where you want to go, your mind will automatically start navigating how to get from where you are to where you want to go.

The thing is.. quantum leaps don't happen over night.

First it looks like nothing is happening... then it happens all at once. That's the experience of a quantum leap.

The hard part is when it looks like nothing is happening.

So once you know what you want, it's time to talk about Spiritual Grit.

Spiritual Grit

"Fall seen times and stand up eight." - Japanese Proverb

How to master resilience

- know what you want

- begin moving in the direction of what you want

- encounter obstacles and setbacks

- overcome the obstacles an setbacks

- repeat

This is the unsexy aspect of a quantum leap. The middle.

This is where most people give up, because the failures start to stack and there is no promised timeline of when you'll be successful.

The people who end up creating what they want simply develop spiritual grit: the ability to keep going. I will add that spiritual grit is the ability to keep going, with peace of mind.

Another way I've said this is "zen ambition" -- where you have lofty goals, but you are peacefully moving forward.

There is no hustle or grind or insane sacrifice.

Spiritual Grit Looks Like:

- loving your daily routines

- waking up excited to work on meaningful projects

- enjoying the process, not just the destination

- living the art of detachment

- chipping away by taking consistent action

- making progress without overwhelming stress

Tools to help you access and develop your spiritual grit: meditation, walks outside, naps, journaling, phone free time, knowing what you want, studying spirituality and flow psychology, breath work.

Once you know what you want, and you're developing your spiritual grit... you must live in the feeling of the wish fulfilled.

The Feeling of the Wish Fulfilled

"Dare to believe in the reality of your assumption and watch the world play its part relative to its fulfillment." - Neville Goddard

If you already made the quantum leap and created the results you want... what would you be doing today?

Let's say you want to make $200,000....

If you woke up today and checked your bank account, and you saw that IT WAS DONE.

How would you feel?

What would you be thinking?

What would you do today?

That's the mental game, the inner work, that is a key piece of a quantum leap.

This is the inner experience you choose as you take action.

This does not mean you sit on your couch all day and do nothing.

You must take inspired action, but in the spirit, the feeling of the wish fulfilled.

I ask myself questions throughout the day to help me live in the feeling of the wish fulfilled:

- how would I do dishes if a new client just joined my mastermind?

- what energy would I have when my girls get home from school if I just booked out a launch?

- if I got 5 requests for 1:1 coaching, how would I do this work out?

I know it might seem silly at first, but this is the mental exercise I've done (and have done for years) to create success beyond what I could have imagined when I thought I was going to be a therapist...

The 3 Steps to Make a Quantum Leap in 2025

1) Know What You Want

2) Develop Spiritual Grit (Take Inspired Action and Don't Stop)

3) Live in the Feeling of the Wish Fulfilled

Of course, those three steps are oversimplified.

But you get the idea...

Know what you want.

Take action, and do the spiritual practice of detachment so you can stay in the game for the long haul.

Live in the feeling of the wish fulfilled so you can experience more joy and peace on a day to day basis while the opportunities align for you.

I hope this helps.

Happy New Year :)
